19. Sir Robert SCOTT of Thirlestane (John of Thirlestane (Sir)¹⁸, William (Sir)¹¹, John William (Sir)⁶, William of Scott's Hall (Sir)², John¹) was born in 1521 in Thirlestane, Scottish Borders, Scotland and died on 19 Dec 1577 in Fife, Ayrshire, Scotland, at age 56.

Robert married Margaret SCOTT, daughter of Walter SCOTT and Elizabeth CARMICHAEL. Margaret was born in 1510 in Midlothian, Scotland.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 20    i. William SCOTT .

+ 21    ii. Walter SCOTT of Gilmanscleuch died in 1609.

+ 22    iii. Sir Robert SCOTT of Thirlestane was born in 1566 in Midlothian, Scotland and died in 1626 in Midlothian, Scotland, at age 60.
