James married Elizabeth Mary LEAHY, daughter of Richard LEAHY and Johanna Mary KEEFFE (O'KEEFE). Elizabeth was born in 1876 and died in 1957 at age 81.

4. Patrick William AHEARN (Michael2, James1) was born on 12 Jun 1873 in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia and died on 15 Jun 1944 in Kilmore Hospital, Kilmore, Victoria, Australia at age 71.

Patrick married Anastasia Josephine DUNPHY, daughter of Lawrence DUNPHY and Bridget McDERMOTT (HEFFERNAN), in 1906 in Victoria, Australia. Anastasia was born about 1877, died in May 1946 in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia aged about 69, and was buried in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 6    i. Julia Mary AHEARN was born in 1907 and died in 1996 at age 89.

+ 7    ii. Michael Lawrence AHEARN was born on 1 Jul 1910 in Footscray, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, died on 23 Nov 1979 in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia at age 69, and was buried in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia.


Patrick had a relationship with Mary Amelia Veronica DOOLAN,1.,2 daughter of Martin Thomas DOOLAN 1,3,4 and Mary Ann GOODMAN,1.,3 Mary was born in 1882 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia2 and died in 1903 in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia2 at age 21. The cause of her death was Died at only 21 from unknown causes.

On the Friday of the 5th November 1897 Mary Amelia Veronica Doolan gave birth to a son, Patrick Joseph Doolan in "Hotham", with is now North Melbourne, at what was believed to be a Maternity Home owned by the Salvation Army. No father was listed on the birth entry.
Mary gave her name at the birth of her son Patrick as being Amelia Doolan.
Three years later at the birth of her son James "Jimmy" she gave her name as Veronica Doolan.
It has been discovered that Mary Amelia Veronica Doolan also had a younger sister Mary Ann Dool so it is likely that she was known as either Veronica or Amelia Doolan.

Mary Ann Goodman married Charles John Holland in 1874. She was later to marry Martin Thomas Doolan in 1878. Nothing is known of what happened to Charles at this time (Sep, 2017).
Charles & Mary Ann had two children, Thomas Henry & Louisa Constance Dorothy Holland. Thomas & Louisa were half-brother & half-sister to William Thomas Doolan & Mary Amelia Veronica Doolan.
Louisa was later to marry Edward William Linnell-French. She divorce him in 1910 in spectacular fashion.
