"John Patten, of Dagenham Court, in Essex, and of Waynflete, in Lincolnshire, flourished in the reign of Edward III. and was alive in 1376. He epoused the daughter and heiress of Sir Oswald Westingcroft of Westingcroft, in Laucashire, and had a son"

John married WESTINGCROFT of Westingcroft, daughter of Sir Oswald WESTINGCROFT of Westingcroft.
